DIVE IN: MISSY FRANKLIN

We're celebrating the launch of our brand new swim 2016 line featuring notable young female swim athletes throughout the month.  This week, we're featuring the remarkable swimmer Missy Franklin. Tune in to see who we feature next .

The name Missy Franklin is synonymous with notable swimmers. A young female athlete, Missy is a remarkable swimmer achieving 3 gold medals at the age of 17 in the 2012 Olympic Games and setting a world record in the 200m backstroke. Starting at the age of 5, Missy is appropriately nicknamed Missy the 'Missile'.  Her international career started at 13 when she competed in the 2008 US Olympic Trials.  Standing at 6'1", Missy was built to swim, her career highlights spanning the FINA World Championships, Pan Pacific Games and National Championship titles.  

At such a young age, Missy has accomplished, and continues to achieve huge feats establishing herself as one of the greatest female athletes.  She's a huge inspiration for young girls and athletes everywhere!
